Ultimate Defense (Hybrid Layout)

Ultimate Defense Tactics part 2
In case anyone misses it, we would like you to check the Ultimate Defense as known as “Farming Layout” before reading this Tactic.

Okay, now let’s see what we have here;

Notice the difference?
Yes, it’s the same village with a minor change in the layout…….with Town Hall inside.

What! You just teach me to put it outside so why put it inside now?
You put Town Hall outside when you want a quick and (almost) free shield. But you will notice that, between your attacks while you are waiting for the troops, you get attack more often and sometimes it gets a bit annoying.

At low trophy range (1200 – 1600), when your Town Hall is inside and you have strong enough defense, most attacker will definitely skip your village. This is good if you have continuous time to carry on with the farming session. Even you log off between attacking, nobody is going to attack your village or they just fail against your strong defense buildings.

Introducing “Hybrid Layout”
Somebody call “Hybrid Layout” for the layout that protects both Resource (Storages) and Trophy (Town Hall). We want to call “Hybrid layout” for any layout that can easily swap Town Hall between inside and outside with not much different in term of defense power.

Basically, you put Town Hall inside when you have time to play. Need to go to school? Work? Sleep? Just put Town Hall outside, swap few buildings and sets of Wall. Farming Layout then gives you a quick shield without scratch on your Resource Storages.

Here’s short summary for Hybrid Layout;

• Make sure you have 4x4 spaces to properly swap your Town Hall inside
• Try not to change much of the layout which makes the switch quick and easy
• Effectively use of excess Walls for more box or funneling

Pro

• Easy shield, Minimal loss of Resources when you want to take a break from the game
• With Town Hall inside, sometimes, you get fun and interesting defense Replay.
• No more players sniping on your Town Hall every time you wait for the troop training

Con
Notes that if you have lots of Dark Elixir in Storage, this tactics can lead to lots of Lightning Spell. So keep using Farming Layout if you have lots of Dark Elixir.
